1927 Roth Violin

I am looking at a 1927 Roth Ruggeri model violin.  The label reads "Ernst Heinrich Roth Markneukirchen 1927 copie Francesco Ruggeri" and is the gothic style label.  The violin looks very similar to other Ruggeri models with the mottled wood back and sides.  What I am concerned about is that there is no brandstamp on the inside back of the violin.  Does anyone know if the brandstamp is always present?

The brand stamp isn't always present, particularly on pre-1930s instruments.

Conversely the brand isn't always an indication of anything, since EH Roth had a habit of "retro-branding" violins.

The best guide to the authenticity of the violin is the style of making, f-holes, scroll carving etc
